Attending a wedding show is such an exciting part of wedding planning. You leave full of inspiration, lots of ideas, and usually quite a few leaflets too. But once you get home, it can be hard to know what to do next.
If you’ve recently been to a wedding show, here are 5 simple next steps to help you stay organised and make the most of everything you saw.
1. Go through everything while it’s still fresh
Take some time to look through the leaflets, business cards and notes you collected on the day. It’s much easier to remember which suppliers stood out to you when the event is still fresh in your mind.
2. Make a shortlist of your favourite suppliers
You don’t need to contact everyone you met. Instead, make a shortlist of the suppliers you connected with most and whose style, pricing and approach felt right for your wedding.
3. Save the ideas you loved most
If you took photos at the show, save your favourites into one folder or Pinterest board. This will help you spot the colours, styles and details you’re naturally drawn to.
4. Start thinking about your wedding style and details
A wedding show often helps couples narrow down what they really want. This is a great time to think about your colour palette, overall theme, guest numbers and the kind of atmosphere you want to create on the day.
5. Follow up with the suppliers you loved
If there were suppliers you really liked, don’t leave it too long to get in touch. Popular dates can book up quickly, and following up while your ideas are still fresh makes the process much easier.

Wedding shows are a brilliant way to gather inspiration and meet suppliers in person, but the magic really happens afterwards when you start turning those ideas into plans.
If you spoke to us at the wedding show about your wedding stationery, we’d love to hear from you and help bring your ideas to life.
